Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026: Three Days Inside Indonesia’s Beauty Market

AsianTrade Connect attended Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026, held from 1 to 3 October at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, in the Greater Jakarta area.

Now in its 19th edition, Cosmobeauté Indonesia is one of the main B2B events dedicated to the beauty industry in Indonesia. The 2026 edition occupied 25,000 sqm across Halls 5–9, with the organisers announcing more than 600 exhibiting companies, over 1,550 beauty brands from 17 countries and regions, and more than 60 supporting events. Around 20,000 industry professionals were expected over the three days.

The scale of the event has continued to increase. In 2025, Cosmobeauté Indonesia recorded 541 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions, 19,020 professional attendees from 36 countries and regions, 24,300 sqm of exhibition space and nine international pavilions.

From finished products to the beauty supply chain

Cosmobeauté Indonesia covers a considerably broader range of activities than finished cosmetics alone. Its main sectors include Aesthetics, Beauty, Cosmetics, Dental, Hair, Nail, Spa & Wellness and Supply Chain, bringing together companies operating at different stages of product development, manufacturing and distribution.

The exhibitor profile includes skincare and personal care companies, colour cosmetics, professional beauty and aesthetic products, haircare, nail care, fragrances and aromatherapy, as well as manufacturers of machinery, packaging and labelling equipment, ingredient suppliers, testing laboratories and OEM/ODM and private-label manufacturers. Distributors, importers, pharmacy and retail operators are also represented.

For 2026, the exhibition expanded several areas linked to changes taking place within the sector. Dedicated segments included Beauty Tech & AI, Ingredients & Formulation, Machinery, Dental Aesthetics, Hair, Men’s Products, Mother & Baby, Senior Wellness and Wellness Solutions, alongside a dedicated Halal Pavilion.

The supply-chain component was particularly visible. At the previous edition, Packaging, Machinery & Labelling accounted for 36.97% of exhibitors, followed by Skincare Products & Personal Care at 12.38%, local manufacturers at 9.80% and OEM/ODM, contract manufacturing and private label at 6.65%. These figures illustrate the increasingly important role played by manufacturing, formulation and sourcing within the Indonesian beauty industry, rather than the exhibition being centred only on consumer-facing brands.

A growing Indonesian cosmetics industry

The exhibition took place against a backdrop of continued expansion in Indonesia’s cosmetics sector. According to figures from the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM) reported by the organisers, the number of cosmetics companies operating in Indonesia increased from approximately 1,500 in 2025 to 1,655 by July 2026. More than 354,000 cosmetic products had been registered with BPOM as of June 2026.

Alongside the exhibition floor, Cosmobeauté Indonesia hosted a programme covering regulation, product formulation, manufacturing, retail, professional education and sourcing. Formats included Beauté Speak, Supply Chain Academy, Beautéducation, Beauté Spot and Beauté Live.

The Beauté Meeting programme was specifically dedicated to B2B matchmaking, with pre-arranged meetings between exhibitors, buyers and distributors based on their business profiles and sourcing requirements.

AsianTrade Connect at Cosmobeauté Indonesia

AsianTrade Connect attended the three-day exhibition as part of its activities in the Indonesian market.

During the event, our team met with local distributors, importers, manufacturers and industry operators, while reviewing new products, business models and developments across both the finished-product and supply-chain sides of the sector.

The exhibition was also an opportunity to continue discussions with existing contacts in Indonesia and establish new relationships with operators active across cosmetics, professional skincare, aesthetic products and beauty distribution.

Indonesia remains an important market within AsianTrade Connect’s activities in Southeast Asia, and the contacts established during Cosmobeauté Indonesia will now be followed up directly by our local market development team.

We would also like to thank PT Pamerindo Indonesia, part of Informa Markets, and the Cosmobeauté Indonesia team for organising the 2026 edition. The exhibition is organised by Pamerindo Indonesia and powered by Cosmoprof Asia.
